Context

Revin automates customer communication with its AI-powered capabilities. It easily integrates with existing Field Service Management (FSM) systems and uses existing customer data. It allows you to create custom logic that meets your specific business requirements as well as train your AI agents with different materials.

Challenge

We faced a few challenges while developing Revin’s animation-heavy website. The provided design included lots of animations and it needed to be pixel-perfect for all screen sizes with no mismatch of color, font, button sizes and placement. Having this many animations affected website performance leading to slower loading time.

Solution

We used Lottie animations, a lightweight and efficient format for web animations, to bring the Figma designs to life. This approach ensured smooth and visually appealing animations while minimizing file sizes. We compressed images in a way that reduced their size without compromising quality. Also, we reviewed and optimized the code base to minimize file sizes and improve page load speed. Other than that, we implemented caching mechanisms to store static assets and reduce server load. All of these allowed to optimize website performance.

Development Process

Our team consisted of two Front-end Developers and we collaborated closely with their team to make sure we are aligned. We had calls with their CEO as well as with their back-end developer and designer to address any ongoing questions or new requests. We used Slack for communication and also used its Canvas feature for quick to-dos and small changes.

Result

We delivered a website with engaging animations and a visually appealing interface that accurately reflects Revin's brand identity. The website loads quickly and provides a smooth user experience across all devices. Currently we are engaged in a redesign of Revin's website to address their ongoing business needs.
