OHFAR

Initially OHFAR was established in Artsakh with the first and only mobile dental clinic serving 11 remote villages, and then expanded its mission to Armenia. With this new initiative, the foundation required a digital presence to raise awareness, accept donations, and engage an international audience.

The foundation required a comprehensive website that could effectively communicate their mission, facilitate international donations, and provide multilingual accessibility. The website needed to support donation mechanisms, including recurring monthly contributions and tax deduction eligibility for donors from France. The project also had to handle the complexities of multilingual content integration, with content provided separately from the original design files.

We developed a custom WordPress website using the Elementor plugin, closely following the provided Figma design. The site was built to support three languages- Armenian, English, and French, ensuring accessibility for a wider audience. We implemented a donation form with flexible contribution options, including one-time and monthly donation capabilities. To enable recurring donations, we worked directly with Stripe’s API by creating a “Price” object for a monthly recurring plan, bypassing Stripe’s standard limitations For French users, we added a separate donation flow that included a link to request tax-deductible certificates.

The project involved careful technical and design considerations, with particular attention to multilingual content management and payment integration. While the design was delivered through Figma, the multilingual content was shared separately in documents. This required ongoing collaboration between the client and our team to ensure visual and structural consistency across all language versions. The Project Manager maintained daily communication with the OHFAR team, shared progress updates, and handled feedback.

The OHFAR website is now live and fully operational, supporting donations from international audience. Following the successful launch, BeeWeb has continued collaborating with OHFAR on the development of their next initiative- custom OHFAR software that will further support their mission in Armenia.
