ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Shopify Developer, you'll be responsible for developing, administrating, maintaining, and managing websites and related systems used by clients. At BeeWeb, we iterate quickly and refactor frequently, writing clean and simple code to solve critical business needs and to provide the best possible experience for BeeWeb’s users. We like to remain curious and open to all technology stacks in order to keep our products innovative.

Missions

  • 2+ years’ of experience in frontend development
  • 1+ year of experience in developing Shopify websites
  • Strong knowledge and work experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience working with Liquid, jQuery, and AJAX as necessary
  • Experience with React is a big plus
  • Knowledge of cross-browser quirks
  • Experience in developing custom themes
  • Self-motivated and learning-driven personality
  • Good knowledge of English as sometimes you have to get communicated with foreign clients

Your Profile

  • Create functional and technical documentation to define project scope
  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to create exceptional solutions
  • Creatively solve development problems and translate technical requirements and mockups into site features/improvements
  • Perform ongoing website maintenance including functional changes to our Shopify e-commerce stores
  • Run workshops and act as a consultant to a non-technical client audience.
  • Lead the delivery of complex/technical Shopify projects.
  • Work with UX and designers to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable front-end experiences
  • Build out custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project
  • Work with Project Management to scope new functionality requests and support Sales to scope new projects
  • Ability to move between customer projects, understand business needs that drive features, and be consultative throughout the process
